And during a storm.

At least to hear my mother tell it.

I checked and I did arrive at 1:27 in the morning. No storm though. That might have been one of the other one.

Me = hospital clinical pharmacist retired.

The orders for oxytoxin came down mostly early in the morning shift to induce labor, 0800 to about 1000. This was a convenience for the Docs. If the article is correct it was oddly the right time for those orders.

Who would have guessed the time of day when people are up and most active! There is little common sense in medicine, and I say that after having been a nurse in a research hospital. And babies being born during a storm- a little shot of adrenaline to the system to more things along. Doh. These days, seeing a doctor is on par with soliciting an assisted suicide.
