My mom wrote her out of the will.

I would say that we can start hiring conservative, American teachers again who understand the correct biological sex lives of humans. Sexual disorientation is not what they study.

Get rid of the National Science Foundation too! The NSF has a disaster for setting standards.

No federal tax payer funds to any educational systen anywhere anytime. Education is a state not federal issue.

“...or will rural and low-income kids and students with disabilities — the populations that most rely on federal education support — be impacted?”
It has been stated again and again that these programs predate the creation of the Department and are in no danger of being eliminated.

While the necessity of the department is up for debate
This is what happens when you change the terms of the debate. We'd never see that from AP prior to Trump.

Given the money being spent on many schools throughout the nation via local school bonds, you’d think we’d be getting more bang for the buck. All these nice pretty facilities are, in general, still turning out mush-brains by the hundreds. Don’t get me started on technical colleges.

Need to eliminate those “responsibilities” otherwise it just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. (And not saving much $$).

Leave it to the States. Education is not a constitutionally enumerated function of the Federal Government.
If California, Illinois, and Washington voters want kids to skip math so they can learn Spanish and 57 genders, so be it—they can pay for it themselves.

The department sends billions of dollars to schools and colleges and helps decipher complex federal laws.
And where is that power enumerated?

Without legislation eliminating it, the next Rat administration will just pump money back into it. It will be revived like it never went away and probably be revived with a vengeance!
