When I was a teenager I did some construction laborer work at a plant that used my dad’s company routinely. Every time I had to leave my clothes in the garage. It had one of the most intense smells you can imagine.

Wright’s Liquid Smoke. The actual plant they distilled the smoke into liquid. Took two shower’s each night but it stayed in your sinus cavities.

I was in food processing for a long time. One factory made chocolate coated stuff and it took two years before chocolate appealed again. The other made eggnog three months a year. I could not stand the smell of nutmeg for about six months after.
