My wife is a grade school teacher on the wrong side of town in a medium crappy town, Tacoma, WA. Her job is to try to get kids up to grade level on reading. She’s an absolute saint.
But you cannot fix what culture delivers. Black consequence free welfare culture is so perfected that NOBODY cares about being illiterate. Not Mom, not Grandma and Dad is long gone.
No matter what you do, the checks keep coming AS LONG AS DAD LEAVES.
The only thing that will stop the checks is if Dad stays.
