I remember when I was a teenager 40 something years ago when we went to concerts. Never once did I say, “man I can’t wait to go see these guys play music when they are in their 80’s!”
A lot of rockers who are still at it in their 70’s and 80’s were heard to say in their youth that they can’t imagine playing rock past the age of 40 (or 50). Some even said 30, but nobody believed them.
