Judith Durham’s husband, Ron Edgeworth, died on December 10, 1994, from motor neurone disease (also known as ALS). They had been married since 1969, and Durham never remarried after his death; she later became a national patron for the Motor Neurone Disease Association of Australia in his memory. She herself passed away on August 5, 2022, and was buried next to him at Springvale Botanical Cemetery in Melbourne.
They had 25 years together. I’m sure their last years were difficult with his advancing disease.
