To lose someone with his talent, spirit, and goodness is a pain I can hardly put into words.

We will be hearing a lot of hyperbole today about what a great kid, etc.

Just reminding everyone that everyone is mortal.

With a forename like Marshawn, I don’t have to look.

So true. Death is certain (Rapture notwithstanding); only the time, place and manner vary.

And remember, God does not grade on a curve - which means we’re never good enough to make it to Heaven on our own merits.

I’m not familiar with him, but may he RIP. There’s very little in the news about the cause of death.

Well the questions will start as to cause of death. My guess, until I hear different, is he took the Covid shots and it caught up with him.

Just reminding everyone that everyone is mortal.

Most 24 year olds can not conceive of their own death for more than a few seconds at a time.

Which makes them those we choose to fill the ranks of our professional soldiers.

Regardless of whatever else was going on in his life, he was an athlete that had achieved the highest level in his sport.

I saw the game on Monday when Kneeland recovered the blocked kick in the end zone for a touchdown. It was a joyous moment for him.

He is still listed as active so good news if he is on your fantasy team.

I would bet its an unknown heart issue.

A college friend of mine, who was on the swim team, collapsed during practice and died right there by the pool. Turns out he had a thin spot on his heart wall, which eventually burst open.

Chuck Hughes dropped dead on the field, and he was only 28. As a lifelong Lions fan, it was a day I’ll never forget.

very sad. I will speculate that he deals with depression and the recent trade of a player that he felt might cut into his playing time had an impact on his mental health.

or not. either way I am truly sorry for his family and friends

This is so sad. He scored a td in last MNF game. Depression, Bi-Polar and even Acute Schizophrenia are treatable with the right meds.
