Boycott NYC…..

Posted on 11/06/2025 6:17:59 AM PST by volare737

With the new socialist mayor, I would like to see any conservative, or conservative leaning organizations, that are planning any sort of convention or meeting in New York in the future to cancel them—and publicly state why. I know there probably aren’t any planned in New York, but if there are, publicly boycotting the city seems very appropriate.

I had to download Fox Sports to watch the World Series (Dodgers hometown fan) - got a 7-day trial, saw the last three games, Dodgers won - canceled Fox Sports the next day.

Had a family trip planned to NY City next year. We’re looking at other, more red friendly places to visit.

New York City will quickly assume the drab squalor of East Germany with long lines for food at government run groceries, but with more murder and mayhem in the streets that will make the city a combat zone.

This is the way it should be done... But it is 20 years too late to start doing it now... If we had done this 20 years ago with States Like Ca, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and other Blues States we would not be in the mess we are now.

but everyone has that “one” personal priority that is more important than standing on principle and enduring even one personal sacrifice.

Now it is too late to stop it. We already dropped the Ball and blew the game.

Well, you certainly have a point. I think back to Reagan carrying 49 states. That is absolutely impossible for Republican to ever do that again. IMPOSSIBLE.

In addition to the hard core blue states which I don’t need to mention, states that used to be Red like AZ, CO, VA, NV turned purple and are now blue or trending blue. Even states like Texas are starting to turn purple.

With the massive demographic changes and indoctrination by MSM, colleges, Hollywood, etc—there is a much better chance that democrats someday in the future will carry 49 states. At my age, though, I won’t be around to witness that.

Remember that the Democrats had a 46 state landslide in 1936 and a 44 state landslide in 1964. The once Democratic Solid South is still solid, but solidly Republican. In contrast, the Northeast, which was once at least a 50-50 proposition, is now a dead zone for Republicans, except for Pennsylvania. As for the MSM and Hollywood, they are dying institutions, with popular opinion about them only a little better than drug dealers or Congress. The alphabet networks are viewed on a weekly basis by only 6% of the population in 2025. In 1980, that figure was around 33%. Hollywood is plagued with an inability to attract the audiences they did, in part due to the "woke" character but also because of the massive competition from other entertainment sources. Young white men are rejecting the educational brainwashing en masse, generally a good thing but unfortunately drawing them to fringe ideas, e.g., anti-Semitic rhetoric.

Granted, we lost badly Tuesday. However, it must be remembered that both Sears in Virginia and Ciatrelli in New Jersey ran not as MAGA but as moderates. Both underperformed Trump by 10 percentage points. If you look at pro-Trump counties, the turnout drop was worse there than in pro-Kamala counties. Compare deep red Ocean County, NJ with super blue Hudson County, NJ.

New York City was a lost cause but Trump was critical of the Republican (Sliwa) in the mayor's race even though he was more MAGA than Sears and Ciatrelli. The ground game by the GOP even in purple states like Pennsylvania and red states like Mississippi was poor, with little contact with potential voters. Additionally, don't discount fraud in the urban counties of New Jersey, Northern Virginia, Richmond and the Hampton Roads area. The Democrats may have had a win in the two East Coast states but wanted to run up the score as some sports coaches will, to add humiliation to defeat.

When you have this big a loss in professional or college sports, the coach is fired. President Trump must assure that competent people run the Republican National Committee and their counterparts at the state level.

Your post was well thought out; however, two points seem missing.

First, you never mentioned “The Great Replacement Theory”.
The democrats accelerated that program on steroids by importing between 10 and 20 illegal aliens (some say the number is higher) under Biden. These were not the doctors, nurses, teachers, engineers, scientists, etc. from many third world countries—they were the unskilled and the uneducated. The democrats were playing the long game here—knowing that there will also be an even larger number of illegals through chain migration of relatives.
They have banked millions and millions of future democrat votes with this outrage. Trump will only be able to deport a small percentage, maybe a couple million at most— as the democrats will fight tooth and nail (with federal judges on their team) to minimize deportations.
As an anecdotal example, you mentioned 1964. The Replacement Theory has already achieved its goal in CA—as when Reagan was elected Governor in the 60s, CA was over 90% white, and now its less than 50%.

Second, the muslim population is increasing at a higher rate than other demographic group in this country—as their birth rate is the highest of any group. They now have NYC, with Minneapolis, Detroit, and Seattle next in line, and Portland is in the on deck circle with a couple other cities (not to mention what is happening as we speak in Europe with its muslim problem). This is another aspect of my first point above.

To sum up, this is an entirely different country than the two examples you cited in 1964, and especially 1936, so I don’t think anything that far back can be fairly used for comparison purposes.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciated your post—just trying to expand on it here, and put it in perspective
