And this is why Sliwa didn’t drop out.
Cuomo didn’t kill them. The hospital systems and HMOs refused to keep the elderly long in the hospitals, in favor of treating younger patients with a better prognosis. Triage! In a pandemic, the young come first and the elderly get hospice care where morphine is used to “keep them comfortable.”
And it wasn’t just NY where this was happening. It was everywhere!
To complicate matters, nursing homes were not prepared for a large influx and workers were staying home because they didn’t want to catch it so it was just like working in hell. Not enough equipment to go around. It was like wartime stuff. Beds in hospital halls and nursing home halls. You have Obama and the CCP to thank for this.

Kinda like when I labeled the Dole-Clinton race in 1996 as the choice between the guy who couldn’t get it up against the guy who couldn’t keep it down.
