Lamb and cabbage soup is a great way to use up lamb leftovers. Set any meat aside, start with a quart of beef broth, cook the bone in it a long time, remove, add some thin sliced sweet onion, chopped in chunky pieces green cabbage. When tender, add whatever lamb you want cut into spoonable pieces. Serve.

A search for "leftover leg of lamb recipes" gives plenty of recipe lists. Gyros, curry, soups and stews, shepard’s pie etc. Just gotta be careful and not cook it further. Guess I'll wash a hammer to break that bone in half. It's about 15 inches long. Will check the local lumber store and see if they have any uncoated stainless steel sawzall blades first. For now, wrap in saran wrap and nuke it on medium to warm it up. I'm just happy/thankful the $50 leg came out good.
