It wasn't exactly dry over the weekend, but it was dry enough that I was able to get most of the kitchen garden covered with a nice thick blanket of composted horse poo. I need to cover the asparagus with compost but I'm waiting for the tops to die back a little more before I cut them off.
With the tomato cages out of the way I'll be able to get back to working on the hoop house. I've collected most of the building material that I'll need to finish it up, so now it's down to get out there and get it done.
Nick shot a little buck deer yesterday morning. Mrs. Augie is rack hunting. She's seen her buck twice now but both times he's been sly enough to get past her.
Last Monday's hailstorm did some damage to the Red Menace so I get to have another round of fun with the body shop and insurance company. Yay me. lol
