Oh, Howard! Auntie Diana is disappointed in you...BUT, not unexpected behavior from a hound. ;)

That cushion can be re-stuffed and given to a dog that APPRECIATES the finer things in life! :)

When I’ve crated dogs, inside and on the porch, I just give them old towels and blankets. Sometimes they get chewed on a little, or dragged around the yard, play a little ‘Tuggy’ with them, but they don’t totally destroy them.

The Condo Dogs and the Kennel Dogs all get wood shavings in their houses in the winter - but that would be a mess in the house...we can only aggravate Mrs. Augie so much, Right? LOL!

I still have 6 beds to clean out, but unless it dries out substantially, they’ll have to wait for that first sunny 40 degree March day when I am chomping at the bit! The straw is all in the greenhouse, so it will stay dry all winter and the cats like to sleep in there on sunny days.

The things we do for our pets! :)

It was a $2 garage sale cushion. I'm pretty sure Howard appreciated it. It just needed a little bit of "adjustment" to be worthy of his awesomeness. lol

I've ordered a cushion that will properly fit the crate and is supposed to be "chew-resistant". We'll see about that.
