Because every other person in DC and all the influencer and “experts” talk in the same weasel-speak.
And — as seen by any number of jeets and chamber of commerce type FReepers, they use the same combination of begging the question and blaming the victim —
“If you’re complaining, it must mean you don’t have a job.
And if you don’t have a job, it’s because you are lazy and never tried, and probably couldn’t do anything difficult like the wonder (insert one) “Indians/Mexicans/Filipinos/Chinese” who we gave all your jobs to.”
It couldn’t be that we’ve noticed the US has been hollowed out and that the government is 38 TRILLION in debt, and that all of the increases in wealth since 1971 have gone to the upper 1%, could it?

I don’t know what Jeets means, but I heard Trump’s response and he didn’t say what the Xer said he said. Plus Laura Ingraham who I loathe constantly talked over Trump.
