There are generally two kinds of popular music fans;
One kind loves “Islands In The Stream” by Dolly and Ken, while the other kind consider it tacky, formulaic and not at all Country. I’ve always enjoyed that performance, including the building brass section in the 3rd verse.

I just listened to it. Never heard it before.
I’ve heard worse. I’ve heard better. It sounds like a Yacht Rock tune.
It’s better than the 3-4 current Billboard 100 I heard.
FWIW Dolly has more business and music sense than almost everyone in the biz.
