I heard this morning that Yesavage was in A-ball at the beginning of the year, it’s hard to imagine a kid going from Class A-Ball to the starting/winning pitcher of Game 5 of the World Series.

The Series is certainly not over, but Yesavage was the winning pitcher last night and started the year in Class A-ball, which is remarkable feat for the young man.

Good article except kind of wandering toward the end - is that Scherzer the writer is talking about? Switched from Yesavage to “he”- “he” must be Scherzer??

Very good ballgame and impressive for a 22 year old...hope he can manage to AVOID the “spoils” of the big league...the biggest names weren’t that great off the field....a lot of disappointments in their stories...for the reader!
