Still saying that a 4 engine jet that seats 60 in business class isn’t going to be economically viable in commercial service. And it doesn’t have the range for really long flights where the speed would be a big selling point - it looks like it might have the range, at most, to go Atlanta or Charlotte to London. Dallas to Paris or Frankfurt would be out.
Boom is going to serve a niche market at best.
I think they are hiding the fact that this is a military aircraft in plane sight. (Pun intended) A very fast, high-flying, silent plane might have a lot of uses if it could also make it stealthy
Boom is not close to production - they are looking at 2028 or later. Also creating their own engines and airframe is risky. FAA cert is a long path, esp in recent years. Add a small market segment and fuel costs, they have a long way to viability. Sustainment alone will be tricky.

Plenty of affluent people in the USA. Concorde was in today’s money $20,000 round trip for premium hours and even off peak was $6000
Get me from DFW to London or Paris in half the time vs 9+ hours and I’ll buy a $10,000 round trip every single time. It’s not even a question it’s just year do it.
Musk is going to eventually have point to point Starship single stage flights at mach 15+ that’s 120 min to anywhere on earth. The military is already onboard for this game changing troop, drone, and terminator killbots capability. Supersonic flight will be for short hops across the pond or across the continent. Vegas from DFW in an hour ish 60 seats at $1200 which is JSX level pricing would sell out on the weekends.
Starship will yeet 250+ people in high density seating across a planet it already has the mass ratio to do so from a stand still you would need 9 rotors not 6 but they have the means to make hundreds per year and the raptor 3 is expected to be $200,000 each that’s throw away cheap wait they do throw them away.
