I just checked since you’re in Maryland. Your governor, Wes Moore, has decided not to use state funds to cover snap benefits the federal government has been providing for EBT recipients of Maryt. Your maid will have to go to food banks. According to the Maryland snap benefits website, your maid has been received $180.00 per month for groceries.

There was a time about 20 years ago when a person who got one state sponsored (taxpayer funded) benefit in Maryland was eligible for several others without even completing any more basic information forms. Is that still the case?. I tried to look it up, but only came across a wide variety of taxpayer provided benefits for Marylanders.
