Yes, I came to FR because I was unsure of what was what with the SNAP because I'm hearing all kinds of info, according to one's state. And I figured most FReepers are well informed and could clear up some stuff for me. I did not think my question was "silly", thank you.

One very generous person offered to send money. I will have to find out how to keep my own privacy and that of my cleaning lady intact. Perhaps she has a pastor and church where the donation could be sent, and I thank that person with all my heart.
