One thing I’ve observed is how difficult artists & creative types have in finding their place. Much more-so in fundamentalist contexts. You can tell even with Katy’s extremely out there costumes — space alien robot outfits in concert and whatnot (which her fans have outgrown) I wonder: was Halloween banned for her while growing up?

Viewing the outside world with suspicion instead of affirming the good, compassion for what’s broken, and loving the different: not good.
The “purity” culture trap leading to hyper fixation on sex than on a simple reverence for marriage, and just becoming healthy minded for a hukab relationships in general: not good.
