Not necessarily. It depends on the material of the robot lover, specifically the part(s) that your part(s) come in contact with during the sex:

Stainless steel: That's cold, but not a sin.
Suede: Sinful, especially if it's blue.
Leather: Definitely sinful, especially if lubricated.
Pleather: Not as sinful as leather, but grosser.
Naugahyde: C'mon, man.
Latex: Seriously sinful.
Sandpaper: Not only is sandpaper not sinful, it is considered penance for the other sins.
