The first 72 hours of life most needs the first breast milk that is made, to curb allergies later in life.

Breast milk and colostrum is 300 times higher 8n Diamine Oxidase Enzyme (DAO) than regular milk.
Diamine Oxidase Enzyme destroys histamines in the body. A histamine storm is what causes the inflamation during the peanut allergy.
This same Enzyme reduces asthma symptoms, lung inflamation and gut allergies that cause diarrhea.
Certain allergens, such as peanuts, cause the mast cells to release histamines. Diamine Oxidase Enzyme buffers the inflamation caused by the histamine release.

Something I missed in the *Better living through chemistry* days of formula feeding babies.
I can’t help but wonder just how much of a role that has played in my food intolerance issues. But there’s no going back to fix that.
But at least I knew that when I had my kids and exclusively breastfed them from birth on until they started on solid food.

Modern science and medicine have produced many miraculous advances in health. But in my opinion the worst, most destructive thing they did, or allowed to happen, was the popular substitution of formula for breast milk, especially the early breast milk, in otherwise healthy babies.
Sure, formula is better than nothing if no human breast milk is available. But I'm convinced that a lot of the poor health of our current population is due to the overuse of formula when breast milk was readily available.
