After seeing a Dragnet rerun last year of an abandoned baby in a regular trash can (1969, pre-dumpster era) I searched and found MANY dumpster and other cases around the US, with more dating back years.
Tonight, Google said “several” cases in September, 2025.
So depressing. Some of the babies lived, so that’s good, but we have a system of all fire stations accepting infants without questions and without charges.
