There was a 30,000 year old cave dwelling that was being used for barbecue and parties involving beer, sex and drugs. Some of them even went so far as to draw on the walls.

People were furious about the "sacred site" being degrade by being used for, essentially the exact same thing that we used it for in the past.

Now I am not in favor of destroying archaeological sites but I did find it funny that tens of thousands of years go by and yep, that is people for you.
