To: Red Badger
Well there you have it.
I believe it is the worst version yet made.

I am waiting for a Scandinavian to play Confucius in the movie-bio.
It would be the best portrayal of an Asian since Mickey Rooney as Mr. Yunioshi, John Wayne as Genghis Khan, Susan Hayward as Bortai the Tartar Woman, and Boris Karloff as Charlie Chan.

In 50 years, people will be saying Amadeus was Asian, like how blacks claim Jews were black.

They should do a remake of Shaka Zulu with Greta Thunberg in the title role.
It makes perfect sense.
And I will never watch it.

Let me guess - Joseph II Holy Roman Emperor and his court break into a K-pop style group hip-hop dance when they hear Mozart perform.

The original Amadeus is basically fiction. Maybe the new one will adhere at least a little bit to what was real and not a fantasy. But given the casting, Iโm not optimistic.

I'm waiting for repop of Superfly starring a white Ammonite.
And I don't even know what an Ammonite is.

I am certain that they could not remake Amadeus and have it be better than the original.
Who in their right mind would front money for what will certainly be a disaster ?
P.S. The Red Violin is also a great classical music movie,
but The Piano Teacher has scarred me for life

I’m not going to clutch pearls over this. A white man can play a black man, an Asian can play a European. It’s called ACTING. They are playing someone who is not them.

Yes, there were a lot of Asian, black, and Native Americans living in Europe in the later Middle Ages, specifically because of mass air travel.

I’m more offended that we have yet another remake. Stop with the remakes and reboots. Do something original
