Trump asked dual citizen Miriam Adelson, a billionaire running nasty ads against me in Kentucky, “what do you love more, the United States or Israel?” She refused to answer him. He says that might mean she loves Israel more.

Massie could easily (and should!) pop this same question to Ilhan Omar, Rashida Taleeb and Zohran Mamdami. Or could make it to H1B migrants. Yet his only concern is Israel. Perhaps you should instead be asking if Massie hates Israel more than he loves the USA. They are allies against common enemies.

There sre double taxation treaties but things don’t match up unless you are just an employee.

For example, I have ownership in a well service company in Texas/NM and am also a rancher. Own oil and gas minerals in TX and my wife owns them directly (and via her Tribe — she’s Apache) in OK, which don’t depreciate but rather deplete. She’s a medical doctor, too. With a private practice and a hospital practice. Well, none of that translates to Israeli tax system.

I was making low seven figures in Israel and I think I operated at a loss when both counties finished ripping me a new asshole.

The problem is not (and never has been) American citizen Jews. The problem is that AIPAC is an under-the-table channel for the State of Israel to lobby for influence in the US WITHOUT complying with FARA (and by extension, all reporting required by that law).

AIPAC is a pimple. Jews contribute 50% of all Dem funding, 25% of its GOP counterpart’s, under their own names. There is no problem. Israeli interests are basically consonant with US interests. People carping about Israel mainly think Muslims should be allowed to kill Jews without consequence. Whereas only a Nazi-level Jew-hater would deny that even if you think of Jews as your enemy, Muslims are literally the bigger enemy, with 100x the population, 1,500x the land area, that a temporary alliance with Jews, until Muslims are sorted out, would be optimal.

Dual citizenship after age 18 was never allowed.

I know this because I was in college during Vietnam, and I was in school in Upstate NY and I had classmates with dual US Canadian citizenship due to birth circumstances.

On their 18th birthday (or before) they had to decide and give one or the other up.

Later, when I was in medical school, (after 1967), there were a lot of dual US - Israeli citizens.In second year, there were many more serving officers in the IDF than in the US military.
