Why didn’t the founders put healthcare into the bill of rights?

The RINOs keep it going, after getting elected on promises to repeal it. That’s the truth, not this pile of Washington Compost vomitus.

Healthcare is simply too large a percentage of the economy to let half the country have it for free or nearly so.

“Medicare Premium Bill....Current Premium Due...Total Amount Due $555.00 by 10/25/2025”

That’s from a document that came on the 6th.

That’s $185/month.

**************

I’m nearly 67.

Why should I get something for free (or nearly free) at age 64 that I have to pay $185/month for at age 66?

If Republicans do nothing, Pelosi’s Obamacare returns as it was.

You Democrats voted for the people that made Obamacare law, I didn’t.

Senator Schumer voted to make Obamacare law.

Once something is free or almost, people aren’t going to shrug and pay for it.

Perfectly simple. Healthcare is about 1/6 of the economy and obamacare allows our Betters to get graft out of that money.

“Trump promised to repeal and replace it with something better and cheaper, thinking the GOP had ideas, but just needed a CEO to smash heads and get her done. But lots of his party wants no government involvement in healthcare markets, except maybe tax credits. Some in the GOP never made peace with Medicare or Medicaid, so they don’t want to do anything except cut taxes and pay for it by cutting spending, which of course never happens because Democrats want higher taxes and more spending, and many think GOP stopped Obamacare from copying the English model of having all hospitals run by the government to save money by taking the profit out of it. You would be surprised at how little many Republican- hating Democrats know about Obamacare and what it was and did, or what it was meant to do. But Trump would be wise to tap Kennedy, OZ, McClarty, etc...and get so more independent ideas about how to keep the sort of promise that got him elected, which was 1) no cuts to Medicare or Social Security, 2) repeal and replace Obamacare with something better and cheaper, 3) balance the federal budget but also get the economy growing at least 3% per year. If Trump does not carve out a clear independent path, the youth and independent vote will be his downfall.....and Democrats will impeach him and remove him just because he was convicted of a felony. It is so essential that the Bragg case gets overturned and Biden, Colangelo, Bragg and Merchan, Daniels & Cohen are prosecuted for it. Seriously. Trump MUST get that felony conviction overturned. It should not be hard. Cohen expected Trump to pay him back, sent him a bill and Trump’s accountant paid the bill. It’s not a campaign contribution if you are working on salary with a client, send him a bill for your service, and his accountant pays it from a private account over a private matter to a private lawyer. Cohen was NOT Trump’s business attorney and a record of paying your personal lawyer is not a “ business record” that was falsified. Trump maybe needs better lawyers than pretty young inexperienced female ones. “

The real issue is that Obama Care was a Ponzie scheme that never made sense financially. The numbers just didn't work out. The Democrats said it will and trust us. Ever since it past there has been one Democratic party lie about Obama Care after another.

When Obama addressed a joint session of Congress and said it will never be offered to illegal aliens and Congressman Joe Wilson shouted “you lie.” Democrats and the MSM said Wilson was the liar. Now they should apologize to him.

When we were told by Democrats that when more and more younger people enrolled the economics would improve. Didn't happen.

When the subsidies embedded in the program could not be paid for by the program.....well you know.

When states started to expand the coverage, but shifted those expanded costs over to the federal government.....well that became a federal cost for ever and ever....and Republicans who balked at the extra state sponsored costs said no....well Democrats argued that they were trying to kill the weak and innocent.

Can’t be repealed until repubs have 101 seats in the Senate.

There is absolutely no reason for the health insurance industry to exist as it is currently constructed. None. They’re a rent seeking middleman because doctors and patients.

You don’t use your homeowners insurance to buy a new dishwasher and you don’t use your auto insurance for an oil change. They’re for PERILS, catastrophic unforeseen circumstances.

There’s simply no reason to pool risk for medical care. Get rid of it as it currently exists and make medical insurance for perils and pay doctors out of pocket for routine care.

Many Americans, and politicians, still believe in the tooth fairy, Santa Claus and Affordable Health Care.

Republicans need to address the backside of health insurance.
Many employers find it very costly to provide insurance for low wage employed. MAGA (and MTG) should focus on reducing the red tape and overhead cost of private health insurance.

People with certain life styles have high health care costs for treatment of STD, HIV, alcoholism, drugs, etc. Insurance companies and employers should give employees the option of limited coverage for cheaper rates. Other options are possible.

Reward good behavior. Make those with bad behavior pay for it.... And if a few die of HIV that is their problem.
