But they’re not afraid to barge into an elderly vet’s flat at midnight to arrest him for daring to post an unfashionable meme. Speaking of creeping Islam in the U.K., there were rumors (or rumours if you prefer) some time back that the king had converted. I’m skeptical, but it sure would explain a lot! As it is, he vowed to be “protector of all faiths” rather than the traditional “protector of the faith.”
Posting a meme, why that’s a crime on par with serial killer - lock ‘em up!
I get it, the U.K. doesn’t have our same laws and protections from government- but their government is failing them. Those who do not identify as sheep need to stand up and be heard, seen, and… doing whatever it takes to help course correct.
The United States isn’t swirling the drain like some countries, but the clockwise current is certainly gaining more speed. The time to say enough is right now. I’m glad my Governor had explicitly stated that Sharia law is not the law of the land in Texas, and won’t be. It’s a start.
Anyone wanting to practice their faith is welcome to. The moment you want special treatment, some of your religious edicts to apply to others, etc. that’s a hard NO.
What is going on in Minnesota, Dearborn, MI, etc. is unacceptable. Completely counter to our laws, civic expressions, and culture. That too needs to be addressed sooner than later.
Immigration needs to be more carefully measured. The core expectation (one my ancestors followed) was to assimilate, be an American first. Certainly proud of where they came from, but American first.
