I use System Mechanic. “Free” apps bring too much ad garbage with them.

It’s an out of date piece of software that’s mostly just a placebo. Windows Storage Sense handles registry cleaning better and safer.

I had CC cleaner for many years and it does a great job and just recently they further improved it so it does it even faster. A while back I came across ‘FORTECT’ I believe it was a little bit over $ 40.00 and it also does a great job repairing many things as well as speeding things up and their service is great.

I have the payware version. It has a lot more features than freeware. When you want to clean your computer of all the accumulated junk files, use the “Custom Clean” option. It’s very effective.

CCleaner also has a web browser which I use instead of Chrome.
