‘Indian Americans’ don’t need h1b visas.

Chintan is worried about securing America’s technological dominance. Would Mr. Patel care to become a citizen I wonder?

India and it’s people hate us. They think America is a land of systemic racism.

This from an entire s**thole sub continent with a caste system.

But every East Indian wants to come here for ‘’a better life’’.

They make me sick.

What I am curious to see, is whether the old-school ones want to keep the door wide open or slam it shut.

The colonizers bringing all their influence to bear on top of their massive financial clout, highest household income in US in hands of 4.5 million people that would include low enders like the people Biden sees at Dunkin Donuts as well as every medical specialist in town and the guys hiring for IT networks. The $100 k is a piffle. We are the Iroquois, they want our land.

Not true about the 100k, this will definitely hurt. Already in my space, a Big-5 firm is quietly looking to replace and roll off all their H1B Indians. In a few weeks 20+ years of suppositions by the technocrats just got upended. Next up AI Bubble bursting...when 40 billion in costs runs up against 20 billion in revenue each month.

+1 for noticing the AI.

Karl Denninger (market-ticker.org) has been on a tear about it recently, but even places like ZeroHedge are beginning to point it out now.

This will crater the stock market.

obviously you know more than I, but when US students commonly take on $100 k of college debt, why Indian families not going to mobilize their resources for this?

AI is a massive bubble.

Over the last three years, they’ve spent $480 billion on infrastructure, and got back maybe $40 billion in revenue.

This does NOT count the cost for electricity, or for the *REQUIRED* build-out of many Gigawatts worth of NEW power generating capacity which does not exist yet.

Well you have to understand the way this works. Offshore firms like TATA and HCL, sign contracts with the Indians and then they sponsor them for H1B and then Big Firms like Deloitte partner with TATA or HCL and they get their offshore labor wholesale. The quality is sh*t, but you get warm bodies at 30% less, in seats. I have worked with teams up to April 2025, 90% H1B mumblers. Not an American in sight, I was the minority. This was a state client. I know for a fact the firm that was my prime, they billed out at $295 and they pay TATA like $100 per hour. Quite a profit margin the taxpayers are footing.

So these Currys they live in the suburbs 5 to a 2 bedroom apartment and live like pigs. They do most of your bad government contracting work. They get abused by these offshore bodyshops. I have heard in Hindi the screaming by their managers over in Pune or Hyderabad. They are trying to colonize us, by infecting their corruption and incompetence in medicine to computer science. As you can tell, I am not a fan of the sub-continent. F them and their Blue 8 arm Goddess they bark at the moon at.
