Public schools depend on a degree of consensus from parents and taxpayers regarding the basics of what their students are being taught. This trust is especially important in these chaotic times when many parents across the country have discovered that their schools are teaching children in a way contrary to their family and religious values by indoctrinating them with creepy views on gender and sexuality.
I know of several high schools in Virginia caught in shameful gender and sexuality-related issues. Two noteworthy incidents happened in Loudoun County in very blue northern Virginia. The first involved a boy (claiming to be girl) who raped a girl in the girl’s restroom and the school covered it up and transferred the boy to another school where he repeated the offense. The news went viral due to a video of the girl’s father being violently removed from a school board meeting for complaining about it.
The second incident had a reverse twist. This happened last year when the "Loudoun Three" boys were charged for Title IX "sexual harassment." Their “crime” was asking a girl (claiming to be a boy) why she was in their locker room and videoing them. Since then, the charges were mysteriously dropped for the Muslim boy while the two Christian boys got an additional charge of "sex-based discrimination”!
A third incident happened a few days ago on Oct. 1st in a rural high school west of Charlottesville, VA. This happened after it was announced that Victoria Cobb, President of The Family Foundation of Virginia will speak about the biological truth that there are two genders -- male and female at the school’s TPUSA chapter’s regular lunchtime meeting. Her permission to speak came only after some outside public pressure and added legal muscle from the Founding Freedoms Law Center.

Marxists just want to destroy Western Civilization.
He left out the Centreville High “educators” in Fairfax County, Va, helping girls get abortions behind their parents’ backs.
I am so over teacher worship. When I see “reserved for teachers” parking spots, I make it a point to park in them.
Burn every teachers college to the ground, bulldoze the ashes and salt the ground so that nothing will ever grow there ever again.
I listened to a lesbian couple, who worked as primary school teachers, have a drunken conversation at a party. They HATED the kids and their “breeder” parents. They put on their pretend meet-the-parents’ personalities to show how they appeared to the parents. (To much laughter, I might add.) What a bit of acting. I asked why they took jobs as teachers when they hated it so much. One of them said, “Because someone has to teach the little shits how to behave.”
If this psycho is any indication, the answer is no.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A well-known Duval County educator is at the center of a growing controversy after being removed from her classroom amid new allegations tied to personal social media posts, including a now-deleted comment about the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Action News Jax Ben Becker has learned that the investigation into Hope McMath, a teacher at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, followed a formal complaint filed by the Duval chapter of parental rights group Moms for Liberty asking for the probe and her possible suspension.

The Social Media Posts in Question
Becker obtained a deleted post from McMath’s account that read, “Karma’s a b****,” in reference to the assassination of Kirk. The post quickly drew attention and was cited in a letter sent to DCPS Superintendent Dr. Christopher Bernier, state education officials, and multiple school board members who were endorsed by Moms for Liberty.
-
Sources tell Becker Mcmath has been removed from the classroom because of posts related to Charlie Kirk’s murder.
-
Moms for Liberty claims the deleted post from McMath was only the beginning.
The group compiled screenshots of other posts still publicly visible, including:
A 2021 post about DCPS students visiting McMath’s personal art gallery, where they allegedly received prints of artwork labeled “God Is Trans.”
A commitment to distribute additional activist art to students.
A classroom display about lynching used to begin the school year.
A previous post where McMath accused students of “bringing COVID to campus.”
Short answer is NO! Not anymore. There was a time teachers actually cared about the education of our children and the importance of our great Nation. They believed in God and family and that was the backbone of future society. Not anymore.
If union: no
If woke: no
If woke and union: hell no!!!!!!
Half the male teachers in my school were banging underage students. It was a poorly kept secret that the local city government ignored.
So no. I wouldn’t trust public school teachers
That's a great way to put how I feel (minus the parking spot thing). I used to revere the role of teachers. I'm sure there are some who are still deserving of much respect. But the school systems don't know how to pull out the weeds and cultivate the grain. I'd dare say in many cases the school systems fertilize the weeds (bad teachers) and suppress the grain (good teachers).
Politics always mess stuff up. Especially Democrats.
In this woke day and age?
Teacher by day, a gay Auntie Tifa by night?
Not only NO, but heck NO!!!
No.
I have an adult child that teaches young children. They are tired of liberal parents and administrators. Especially the parents. Looking to offer services privately and leave the arena. In short, the liberals are causing conservative teachers to leave and pursue other ways to make living.
NO!
Never. they become teachers for a reason. Usually it is just a desire for complete domination and control. Often the reason is darker.
Absolutely not.
Just about everyone that I work with thinks that public schools are the best thing since sliced bread.
We’re hosed.
All classrooms should have cameras accessible to parents.
“Can Schoolteachers be Trusted?”
NO!
