USA Today says Colorado's Deion Sanders' job security in limbo amid ongoing blood clot battle
Yahoo ^

The Colorado Buffaloes are having a tough year, to say the least. Perhaps part of the struggle stems from the amount of time head coach Deion Sanders missed due to health concerns during the summer.

Sanders’ health deteriorated to the point where he faced an unimaginable reality: he had to make a will, fearing that death might be imminent.

KEYWORDS:
Health issues will force him to quit, not the on field results.

He's like Muhammed Ali-big mouth. Both of them backed it up as athletes and both ended up with health issues too early in life. Could it be karma?

The MSM sucked up to Deion every chance it could get. Ali stood for something bigger than boxing, earning respect. Something tells me Deion could have been more humble. His best recruiting tool was being Deion. It appears to not be enough. Saying provocative things can be off putting but when you become average no one listens. The MSM will fill the vacuum. Let's hope his health holds up.

Clot vax? Any lose of income should be a mega$$$ lawsuit. If he can’t play, he would lose millions.

If he can’t play? You mean, if he can’t coach, right?

Disliked him as a player for his mouth and do-rag and jumping teams regularly. Came to respect him as he was a good on air TV analyst/personality. I wish him well. He has a big mouth, but he has talent and puts in the effort. He is an American archetype.

I have been paying more attention to Deion's post-game press remarks, and his locker room talks. I believe he is a very good, god fearing man that cares deeply about his players and preparing them for a life after football. I had to look past all of the media hype and the self-promotion annoyances

If he can’t coach, of course. But I’ll always remember him as a player.

““Clot vax? “

Nope. Condition predates vax.

Be knowledgeable before posting.
