We love goose, we get honkers in North Texas set up around stock tanks with mechanical decoys and electronic calls.
Over under 12ga 3” Lee loadall.. BB over T shot both Bi at 1400 fps attached to a one point drop sling then Winchester SX4 semiauto 3.5” with 2oz all T shot bismuth at 1400fps puts them down from nearly football field distances. 5 shots in under 6 seconds geese hardly ever make it past three guys with this set up it’s like flying into WWII ack ack the puppies go nuts when the shooting starts they know they getting to retrieve and their duck jerky rewards for being a good puppers.

At my other farm I had a small lake across the road. It was owned by the state, so it was always in a natural state - which meant LOTS of Canada Geese flying back and forth between my farm fields (thieves!) and their home.
Some years there would be so many flying over that you could practically swat them down with a broom!
We never lacked for Canada Geese; it was a real blessing at the time.
