I don't like it. He's fishing in the troubled waters of Ken Paxton. A 3-way primary next March without a 50% winner would lead to a followup primary weeks later. We don't need that. Hunt would finish 3rd. Put his house seat at risk? I don't think so. He wants his name out there for the future. Governorship-no. A Cruz SCOTUS appointment? Far fetched unless Ted gets bored or runs for POTUS.

As I said I don't like it.

C’mon Wesley, don’t do it right now. You’re doing a great job in the House and we need you there. Right now I think Paxton is the only candidate to kick that RINO Cornrow OUT! I love ya guy but please put this off for a few more years.......thank you:)

Very bad move...he was a rising star in the House. I mean, if the seat was open, sure. But it is not. Governor is out because Abbott is running for re-election.

Should remain in the House.

Well...this will this be entertaining...but maybe not in a good way.
