Saute in butter, not margarine.

Do not over cook!!!! High heat until lightly brown. It is quick. Remove from heat then!

Salt and Pepper and one of the many spices that you like. I personally like Italian seasoning. A few drops of lemon or lime juice if you like, I like but just a few drops.

Use plenty of butter so a lot is left in the pan. Take warmed French Bead or my favorite sour dough bread and soak up the butter and spices. It is almost as good as the scallops.

Relative to the spice of your choice choose lightly. A heavy spice will cover up the delicate taste of the scallops.

I like scallops a lot. Scallops are not cheap but they are worth the price.
