We were told to mask up between peanuts or be treated like we were taking down the plane. That kind of absurdity fed secret watchlists where spite or bias could brand us threats.
We ended Quiet Skies, but we must stop government secrecy, over-classification, and surveillance of Americans.

I had to fly back then. I remember asshole flight stewards lecturing us that if we cared about humanity we’d keep our masks on, unless we were drinking coffee or eating peanuts. I’m not forgetting.
And the orders came from “public health officials” i.e Fauci et al, if you contravene them you were going against the science

Rand Paul is the ONLY US Congressman/Senator who is still pursuing Fauci for his illegal research in China on Covid and covid lies / coverup. the ONLY ONE.
There's another 99 Senators and 435 Congressmen, most of whom have opportunistically milked Covid for all the political mileage they could - and now are done with it. Maybe they can also "put on their big boy pants" and do something.
I intentionally broke the bottom strap of my mask so it just kind of hung loosely over my face to avoid harassment but let me breathe.

Well I hated having some punk with a clipboard at the grocery store asking me about my shot status...and then when I removed my mask inside, having an employee chase me down and demanding I put it on.
The insanity is that many people did it instead of telling them to pound sand.

Rand Paul had multiple opportunities to use the authority of his office stop the mask wearing and chose not to - and thus subjecting everyone else to it. Now he whines about it? Spare us.
As for a silly comment, it's not silly to call out some whining beeotch whose cowardice helped inflict suffering on others. It needs to be done each and every time.
I said from the beginning that the COVID-1984 mandates should apply for life for those who implemented and enforced them. I'd add any politician who refused to stop them. The same fictitious justification they used then can be used against them now.
I had a friend who deliberately discolored his mask. It looked like he had cleaned the toilet with it. It was so authentic looking you didn’t want to be seen with him.
It was nuts!
I didn’t forget and I quit flying and haven’t gone back.
Still doesn’t excuse all the bad stuff Rand does.
This guy is a nutcase. Even though he’s an ophthalmologist, one would think that his training would have included information about airborne transmissible diseases, especially since the eyes are a primary entry point for airborne pathogens. But no, he just spouts misinformation.
I am saddened that so much medical misinformation has been wrapped up in a package to appeal to conservatives. The people behind this do NOT like conservatives. Their goal is to undermine the conservative movement (along with getting more of us to die off).
I would hope that at some point, Rand Paul is replaced with a real conservative who actually understands the scientific method and how public health functions.

Yeah, you ate a peanut, put the mask back on, took it off, ate a peanut, and the viruses were trained to stay in your mouth without flying into the air and into another person’s nose.
