When SNAP benefits resume, and yes, they will resume. What if it came back online minus a whole bunch of people that shouldn’t be getting benefits?
I realize the Govt is shut down...mostly. But I can see this being a possibility.
Gotta admit, it would be one hell of an opportunity to scour/analyze/sort the data. You could do updates, or even replace part or all of the back-end while the existing system was offline. How many opportunities would you ever get to do precisely this?

I say this assuming the entire tech infrastructure that is being used is your typical patchwork Govt hot mess...and almost certainly compromised given the amount of $$$ moving through the system.
I think everyone paying attention would agree that there’s about a zero percent chance that the deep state wasn’t drinking from the fountain. Guzzling even.
Interesting to think about.
