Thats cool I have not seen the Secret Service mag.

Archie Comics in the forties was fairly risque for the time period, they call those “Good Girl” comix...

I have some of the very early spin-off titles of the Jughead and Betty & Veronica books. You know These older comics were so much better made, why did the price go up and the quality go down?? lol.

I guess the oldest book, book I have is The Pilgrims Progress, nineteenth century and illuminated with some amazing drawings. Its not in the best of shape but I will hang on to it for the art if nothing else.

I have books older than the 1900 pulp. Just not comics/pulps that are older.

Out of the regular books one of them is in the 1840s, and I have a late 1800s/early 1900s pilgrims progress that I got from my granddad. I don’t think it has the illustrations the way yours does though.

I’ve tried to read it a few times and struggled to wade through it...may be time to try again. Good stuff.
