I flipflop on Perot. Sometimes I think he was the first attempt, kind of a beta test version of Trump. Other times I think he was Deep State or a DS pawn, and his job was to draw away R votes and ensure that Clinton won.
Now that I know more about GHWB, I wonder if Clinton wasn’t the lesser of 2 evils. I also suspect that both GHWB and Clinton intended for Clinton to win.
If Perot=Patriot theory is correct (and I lean pretty far in that direction), I suspect the patriots knew both candidates were evil and perhaps Perot’s job was to test the viability of running a 3d party candidate. He also managed to expose the lengths to which the DS would go. When they threatened his daughter and he dropped out (or suspended?) his campaign, I thought he was maybe a bit of a kooky paranoid conspiracy theorist (but he still got my vote!).
At this point in my life, I have a lot of respect for a lot of kooky paranoid conspiracy theorists.
I agree the patriots learned a lot from Perot’s run. Both of them, I think. Besides learning what the DS tactics were, I think they also learned that the candidate needed to be bullet-proof. (No pun intended.) We needed someone who could take whatever the DS threw at him. I suspect the patriots also learned about the need to physically protect the candidate.
I will be forever grateful to PDJT, and to all on his team, and all who went before him, whether known names or those in the shadows working to free us.
Perot worked for Clinton and had no intention of winning. His reason for dropping out was because he was gaining enough momentum to win and that had to be squashed. It had nothing to do with GHWB and popping up in 1996 after 4 years of hiding shows that. Dole was running in 1996, not GHWB. He just showed up so Clinton could win again. The Clintons have ruined our country. Without Perot most people would never remember them.
