That reminds me of something that happened at my business back around 2008 when we introduced free wifi for customers. A customer paid for his goods and asked if we had put the free “wiffi” (his pronunciation) in the bag too. The clerk said “Excuse me?”. The customer said he didn’t know what it was but the sign outside said free wifi and he wanted to make sure he got his. If it’s free, they want it, even if they don’t need it or even know what it is.
All the kids/grandkids/great-grands have gone to their own homes for Halloween and The Homestead is far enough out in the sticks we only see “neighbor” kids and darn few of them anymore. (Guess we’re all getting too old out here now.)

Only thing I can think of is either Trump didn’t have him vetted enough, and/or someone (stupid/evil) recommended him.
