If I were Black and saw the constant posts citing Amish, Yogi, Jane Goodall, etc., I would certainly feel unwelcome here. Just because someone agrees with one politically doesn’t mean they don’t perceive and resent racist insults.

I know very few Black people who refer to themselves as ‘African American’ except in the most formal situations. Instead, they use ‘Black’. I capitalize it just as I would Hispanic or any number of other ethnic designations, and it has nothing to do with being ‘woke’.

There isn’t a lot of support here for black and brown people who mooch off of others, cheat, and act as if their color is more important than their character. Nor is there much support for white people like that. People of good character are always welcome here regardless of skin color. Those who use and abuse others are not welcome here regardless of skin color.

What does that have to do with voting MAGA? I know plenty of low-IQ non-blacks (and blacks) who voted for Trump and love America. You can’t help the DNA or level of intelligence you were born with. People can succeed in spite of that. Those are truly invalid reasons to denigrate an entire group of people. What matters is what’s in our hearts. And if our heart is messed up help to heal, if possible.

Nope, that is absolutely not true. You are either not very observant or not being honest.
It is EXTREMELY RARE, just like this original post here. And when it does happen all the comments in the thread are “Go back to the DU!”, “What are you doing here?!”, “You should be zotted!”.
It is so abusive and threatening that it is designed to discourage anyone from thinking about doing it. And hopefully also drive that poster away from the FR for even daring to do it.
And know what? It does... To the point of being unproductive. In fact I have shared this before, but the FR is struggling because of the hostile environment it has created. I don’t know how much more of this ignorance the FR can put up with before the quarterly donation goal post has to be lowered again.
