You’re so virtuous.
Yes I am, and proudly so. Not hard to point out the hypocrites like you......
Thank you for this.
“ Yes I am, and proudly so”
________
That hilarious. You must forget, your posts are public.
The way so many speculated about this child and his death was appalling.
Yes. Those who radicalize these kids will have to answer to God for what they’re doing to our children.
It seems that plural pronouns are considered default mode by the MSM until they know for sure.
It has to do with basic forever grammar rules of “agreement”.
“the ninth grader from Canyon View Junior High shot themselves..."
I wouldn't pay them idjits no never mind, Madam. Some folks just caint be learned up right even if you took a split rail to 'em.
I was just as confused as everyone else by the pronoun in the article.
Also, kliryandil found his name in post #38. The obituary is online.
I agree that the pronoun “them” is used incorrectly here.
I hate that news writers now use a plural pronoun for a singular person sometimes.
That plural pronoun confused many of us on this thread.
Schizo.
It does seem that way. I can’t believe what passes for journalism today.
thank you for the clarification
seems the writer of this article has not mastered the English language
indeed, prayers up for the family and for all the witnesses
The boy’s obituary, the Facebook post about his death, and the comments all refer to him as “he.” I don’t see any indication that he used “they/them” pronouns or that he was “trans.”

Oh, good. Share the links? That sounds interesting.
Nevermind, I found it.

Probably why the article’s author wrote it as such:
Google AI states this:
Misinformation: The searches found no reliable news sources or police statements confirming the student was transgender. Social media posts have circulated, mentioning the use of “they/them” pronouns in initial reports, which prompted discussion and speculation about the student’s gender identity. However, official reports have not provided information to support this claim.
That’s the one I saw, too. Prayers for the family. So sorry for all.
Thanks for your reply. Prayers for all...
I’m old school. I still view pronouns as having nothing to do with trans-people unless trans-people are mentioned.
