A Quick Warning for Residents of the People's Republic of California
Tell Me How This Ends ^ | 23 Sep, 2025 | Chris Bray

Apologies to readers who live in America for cluttering up your inbox with a message about Crazyland.

SB 771 is sitting on the desk of our sociopathic governor, and it’s a bill to punish hate speech by punishing social media platforms that carry it. The opening section defines the problem that the bill is trying to solve, and it starts with “anti-immigrant slurs,” which inflict “hate-motivated harm.”

On the day when every warm and kind lawn sign liberal on the planet is warning that taking Jimmy Kimmel off the air for a couple of episodes is precisely identical to what Literally Adolf Hitler did, the California legislature has sent the governor a measure that aims to impose million-dollar fines on social media companies that allow users to post crimethink. “I think a biological male who identifies as a woman is actually still a man.” $1,000,000 fine.

Senate Floor Analysis of the bill here:

Fascinating list of groups for and against, a left-on-left fight over who gets to speak. Sample list of the opposition:

Code Pink and the Democratic Socialists of America think California is too far to the left on speech questions. Quite an accomplishment.

If you live in California, it would take you about a minute to use the form at this website to tell the governor to veto this idiocy. Remember the bill number, and make sure to include it in your message: SB 771.

Scott Wiener voted for the bill, in committee and on the floor, which is usually enough information to know which side to take.

Wont stand up 8n court. Supreme court already ruled that vile groups like the old westborrow “baptist” church could stsnd outside funerals for soldiers and inflict emotional harm befzuse of free speedc protections.

Police arrested a protestor who held up a sign condemning homosexuality during an lgbtq parade. The cop broke the law by doing so even thougn he claimed the sign was harmful and csould, incite a riot” or some such nonsense. The courts slapped the cop down hard on that one.

Immigration status is a protected characteristic? And if so, is an illegal alien a “california resident”?

How does someone not legally present have status as a “resident”? They’re engaging in trespass.

But of course the Professional Mexicans in the so-called California legislature want to make it a crime for you to point out that fact.

All part of replacing the American population by re-labeling themselves as “the Americans”.

because its two different polities, like most everywhere else in America. that’s what is terrifying about upcoming hostilities, IF there are to be any

Cali has many conservatives, admittedly fewer than in past years, but still the same blue\red paradigm holds: rural vs urban, higher ed vs blue collar, Christian vs athiest. I’m not ready to give up on these oppressed patriots in California...there have been talks about breaking away movements, perhaps into 3 separate states?

The State of California was created by Congress.

The State and all its subdivisions and entities are fully bound by Amendments I, II and IV.

The Republican Congress could by majority vote give the invader dominated parts of the state (and lower Texas) back to Mexico.

The next senators would be Republican.

Instead of ICE deportations, the invaders elsewhere would load up pick-up trucks.

If we offered to sell those parts back for $1, the offer could be made via a reconciliation bill.

That California redistricting bill probably should be made into a Republican friendly bill.

I'm into "Take it back," by teaching a cohort critical to the Slave Party that their environmental paradigm is immensely destructive environmentally. Indeed, "preservation" as a management ethic is causing mass extinctions.

There is a superior alternative.
