I would like to be optimistic. However, we are six weeks away from the gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia and the New York City mayoral race. Kamala Harris carried both states but by smaller margins than Biden or Hillary did. In both states, the Democrat is 8-10 percentage points ahead, according to polls. (Granted, some polls may overstate Democratic leads to discourage GOP voters from showing up. Also, some conservatives don't answer polls or lie to pollsters.) There is likely some ballot box stuffing that will happen in Newark, Camden, Northern Virginia, etc.

Democrat victories in these two states will boost Democratic morale going into 2026 and perhaps depress Republicans. The Democratic nominees are likely more left wing than the last Democrat governors of the respective states. Because none of the three opponents to Mandami in NYC have not dropped out, it is probable that an open communist will be the mayor of the nation's largest city, turning it into a Seattle or Minneapolis on steroids.

That part IS pretty depressing. All I can tell Conservatives in those states is to GTFO if at all humanly possible. :(

Southern Wisconsin has milder winters than do folks on the East Coast! Our Unemployment rate is at 3.1% compared to 4.5% nation-wide.

And we have a Socialist Democrat Governor (for now) so people would feel right at home, LOL!

Gov Evers isn’t running again (you can run 3x in WI for some ridiculous reason!) so our next Governor’s Race is going to be a DOOZY!

Both our House and Assembly (Senate) are in solid republican hands - which is why Evers hasn’t done as much DAMAGE to our state as he could have.
