Yet more proof that you can bread and deep-fry most anything and it will taste OK. But I’m not hungry enough to try one.

There are so many ‘New World’ vegetables and fruits that were unavailable to Europeans before Columbus, it makes you wonder what Europeans were eating on their dinner tables?..............

You don’t have to go to Mexico , you can go to east Austin in the trendy part, there are at least two high end food trucks that sell them $8 per taco or more and they sell out every night.

I have has them in Mexico fresh enough that they were live when they hit the comal. Iguana now that’s some good tacos.
