A lot the people on discord are gamers that use discord in team game matches but there’s a lot of other groups from Christians to the rest.
I’m a part of a group of artists and two small You Tube shows. None of the people in those chats/groups are a radical left wing group.
They’ll probably isolate and shut down that chat but no reason to go after Discord.
I want results. they have failed at that. They are still infested with leftists. FBI hasn’t fired nearly enough people. DOJ hasn’t fired nearly enough people.
And if they are really bad, they will be scolded. Please. Either do something or don’t. And if he is being careful with his words to avoid a law enforcement issue, then don’t talk. I like Patel but he seems too eager to get in the media to talk about things but when he does, his response sounds weak.
Discord is made up of MANY different groups. The whole thing does not need to be canned. Just their particular chat rooms.
Why don’t you go help? Maybe stand guard over a memorial or something? Your harshness is unwelcome.

Yes. There are weather groups that meet on Discord. No need to throw out the whole thing due to one bunch of nincompoops.
That hasn't changed. I've been blocked on X twice for false accusations of "violent posts." Haven't been able to access my account for a month now.
Kinda like that Special Agent in Charge at a press conference in the wake of the murder; when he delineated what kind of evidence they had already collected like shoe imprints etc.
This was before the suspect was in custody, giving him time to ditch the shoes!

Hate speech by and of itself is not enough to shut down the web-site, as it is generally not illegal.
There are discussion boards on many sides of an issue that talk about physically assaulting, killing, and injuring others that lacks intent. It’s more general vs. a conspiracy.
If however, someone was involved in an agreement (between at least two people) to commit an unlawful act, there’s specific intent to commit the unlawful act, an overt unlawful act is committed (Robinson), and someone is inciting imminent lawless action (someone along with Robinson), I’d suggest that person is in trouble.
If Robinson told Person B “I am going to kill a person” and Person B said nothing, Person B is not a conspirator. You would hope that Person B would notify law enforcement.
Discord should get out in front of the oncoming criticism that is headed its way.
