Kellogg: Russia is losing war
APA ^ | 9/15/2025 | Toghrul Guluzade

Russia is losing the war, said US President Donald Trump's special representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, APA reports.

"Trump asked me if Russia was winning the war. I told him Russia was not winning the war. If Putin had won, he would have been in Kiev. He would have been in Odessa, on the western bank of the Dnieper, and he would have changed the Ukrainian government. Russia is losing the war," Kellogg claimed.

The US President's special representative also spoke about nuclear weapons.

"This is not the Russia I knew during the Cold War, the Soviet Union. This is a different Russia. They talk big, but if I were Putin, I would be worried. Putin sometimes threatens to use nuclear weapons. The United States, Great Britain and France also have nuclear weapons. We discussed this in the Oval Office. They talked about the strength of the Russian army. I said that we will defeat the Russians. The Russian army is not as strong as Putin says. Therefore, the Ukrainian army should be praised. I think no one should be afraid of the Russian army. I don't think they have the potential to march on Berlin or anywhere else," Kellogg noted.

Has Ukraine taken back any of the land they have lost?

Russians control less of Ukraine now, then they did at the start of Putin's invasion.

You need to look beyond your rock’s perimeter to see what is really happening.

Russia is already toast

What you fail to understand is that as Russia continues to retreat westward they will inevitably reach the culmination point and will rapidly dissipate into nothingness. They will collapse like the Nazis on the eastern front - who surrendered Berlin with barely a scratch to the armies of the east and the west. That sucking sound you hear is Russia going down the toilet.

We're wining, just need some more recruits. How about drafting old women?

Kellogg knows Putin’s goal was to subjugate Ukraine, with 80% free and Russians only able to advance at a glacial pace with huge losses, Putin has lost the war.

So, utter incompetence in understanding the enemy, then

For a General…just as bad as sabotage
But with more medals on retirement for wars never won

Well, you do know Charlie was on Ukraine’s bad guy list. Taking a hiatus under the circumstances was probably wise.

It cost the Soviets some 300,000 casualties to take Berlin in 1945. That's barely a scratch?

Russia doesn’t want to win, because they figure the longer the war goes on, the more the West becomes divided.

I was wondering about that. Because the MO seemed an awful lot like the ones that were trying to take out the President. Of course, Charlie was a soft target, but still. I wouldn’t put anything past those slimy beggars.

“I don’t know who put Kellogg in place as Trump’s special advisor to Ukraine…but they are either blindly incompetent or deliberately sabotaging him.”

Kellogg is a neocon…. less obvious than many but still a neocon.

I think there is state department and Department of War doctrine, that has become gospel, that if the Russians ever get out of their box we would use the same tactics Reagan did and crush their economy. Only trouble is, we were a lot richer of a country when Reagan did that. Now they’ve pissed away our wealth and our future earnings, and if there’s a new arms race, we’re not winning it. Time for some new thinking in the State Department. Can’t we fire’em all?

I am not accusing Ukraine of this. So far, nobody has shown any reason to think they were in on it. But as you said, people have considered it because of the Trump golf course attempt.

I don’t think we know the whole story about the shooter and who all he had connections with yet.

Never heard a general say there was war they could not win nor were involved in a war they were not winning.

How’d that Viet Cong thing turn out?

Or more recently that Taliban thing?

Some may call me anti-military, but I haven’t had respect for a SINGLE general since Matthew Ridgeway was sent to Southeast Asia by Ike on an information gathering trip.

When he came back he told Ike the truth which was we shouldn’t get more involved than we already were.

Not long after, Ike bid farewell by warning of the military industrial complex.

Beware of Ret Lt Gen Keith Kellogg, MIC.

The State Department is still full of neocon slime like most other institutions in DC. It is a cesspool and few can be trusted.

Who better than Trump to break the news to Putin that he doesn’t have as many cards to play as he thinks he does.

Vladdy. Vladdy. My man. Denial is not just a river in Egypt!

For quite a while, the case to support Ukraine was that Putin was attempting to reassemble the old Soviet Union. But now we are told he can’t get past the border region of Ukraine.
