Btw, the Government has archaic ways of dealing with getting rid of staff.
Bessent did not fire the Deputy Secretary as ordered. He was put on administrative leave. Not fired until Loomer pointed out what was going on.
It is possible that Bessent was transitioning him out due to some govt. rule
Here is what Loomer said:

SCOOP: I’ve just learned tonight that after I exposed the fact that Deputy Treasury Secretary Michael Faulkender was placed on administrative leave, he was later fired. Apparently President Trump had ordered
@SecScottBessent
to fire Faulkender weeks ago, but Bessent secretly placed Faulkender on administrative leave instead of firing him. When my tweet came out, President Trump saw it and sources tell me he was not happy to learn than Faulkender was placed on admin leave instead of being fired.
Faulkender was then FIRED. “

I’m told his daughter Lauren still works in Cabinet Affairs.
Why?
A lot more is going to come out about what Faulkender was really up to at Treasury on his free time.
I don’t like being lied to!”
