I need to clarify... I agree with your points and your conclusions. I am just not sure about the numbers that you were/are quoting... or if it really matters. Ivermectin was not a miracle cure for me, but numerous studies show that it has helped when and where it has been made available or provided to large numbers of people.
Ivermectin research is ongoing. For example, it has been successfully applied to cure bladder cancer in Australia.
BIg Pharm will not fund any of the research into the wide application of Ivermectin, there is no money in it for them.
So the vagueness will continue.
The discovery of Ivermectin also has a Shinto aspect which lends itself to a context unfamiliar outside Japan. Ivermectin was cultivated using a staphylococcus virus found only on a small patch of land in Japan, no where else. Many in Japan regard Ivermectin as a gift from the kami, to cure many illnesses. My point is that in terms of its evolution,Ivermectin is not your typical drug, but few in the West know of that aspect.
Some cancers act s if they were parasitic. And Ivermectin has been effective in treating these cancers.
