NY Times reports that Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein had suggested secretly recording Trump and using the 25th Amendment to remove him from office.
Rep. Meadows: “The FBI had informants inside the Trump campaign who were wearing wires and recording conversations.”
Clinton Lawyer Michael Sussman’s role explained.
“By early October 2018, the outlines of the conspiracy were clear:
1. The Clinton campaign funded the creation of false opposition research
2. That research was delivered to the FBI through multiple channels, all undisclosed
3. The FBI knew the sources were biased and unreliable but used the information anyway
4. Senior DOJ and FBI officials signed FISA applications they knew contained false information
5. The Deputy Attorney General discussed secretly recording the President to build a case for his removal
6. Confidential informants infiltrated the Trump campaign and secretly recorded conversations
7. When Congress tried to investigate, officials obstructed, delayed, and refused to cooperate
Every new revelation made the picture darker.”
