The Leftist cry for “tax the rich” seems to be unaware that the rich (i.e., income > $445,000/yr) already pay almost 75% of total IRS collections while low income people (i.e., income < $45,000/yr) pay less than 3% of IRS collections. The Leftist fallback of “tax the corporations” seems ignorant that corporations have to pay those taxes from revenues paid by consumers. Also, given the Leftist hate for those two groups, where are the funds to come from to promote economic growth, create jobs, and foster a higher standard of living? Are voters really that ignorant?
